Hi, Katie. I love your scanning frenzies because you pick the most interesting and different books, books I don't see everywhere I turn. I like that because I always learn something new. You were one of my role models/mentors when I came here, and you gave me a realistic yardstick I could use to guage my progress in learning to scan. As for my growing up, that may take a long while. I'm about to turn 35 and don't feel a day over 20. Of course, this can be a bit of a problem since my daughter has informed me that music from the 80s is "oldies now" and that I have a few gray hairs. (sigh) I know what you mean about needing to do some proofreading. I've scanned several books this month while validating since Kurzweil lets me do both. Now I've got to fix up what I've scanned so the validater will have an easy time with my books. Good luck with the proofreading and with your upcoming trip.
