I'm so intrigued by that problem, Katie, that I've
requested the book from the library. I wonder if the
copy you have is the only one like that or if they'll
all like that. I'll let you know what I find out.
I did some research online to see if there were any
explanations--maybe it was to indicate how a character
talks or something--but I couldn't find anything.
Maybe in the book there will be an explanation.
