Rik, I'll have my husband Get teh book when we return to L.A. and the
university is open aga9n ( it closes for holidays like MLK and Presidents'
holidays. Don't put a hold on it for me. If someone else can get the book
and wants and is able to to proof it. That's fine with me. I have 3 - 4
books I should finish first ( well, 3 at least. The fourth can wait. The
scanner is teh most patient member/volunteer in bookshare. We have a
long history. I'm surprised he still wants me to proof his scans. But he
does me that ... (I forget teh word I'm looking for). Maybe it's because
not too many sighted volunteers want to cope with footnote numbers and some
who might be wiling to don't like to do books with the subject matter of
his scans

I found a slip off paper on which I wrote the title & author of this
book and where in the UCLA library it is located. Is this something that
someone ants to scan and I offered to proof it if no one else offered? I'm
willing to do it but I have 4 books to finish proofing first and I'm not
the fastest proofer, not only because I one of teh obsessive ones who does
it by reading carefully but because sometimes I let my life interrupt my
proofing -- family visits and a recently retired husband who likes me to
share activities with him. I got a lot more done when he was working and
gone during the day.
If you (whoever you are) wants me to proof the book if no one else
offers I'll have my husband get it from the library
Cindy and will do it when I have finished the other 4.
I also offered to proof Louis Nizer's My Life In Court which as on the
Wish List. but it's possible that that book is more obtainable and so maybe
some else will do it.
