As a a person with what we call pretty high partial vision over the years, I
would adjust my Window settings as to display.
But one need not do that anymore with a magnification software.
There are a number of programs, and I do not endorse any.
I only know that I have this one, and it works pretty well.
It has lots of features, vision enhancements, mouse enhancements and so on.
The current version 13 was a recent major upgrade in the program. It runs on
Windows 10 and earlier versions of Windows.

One thing I would mention, that it can feel a bit unnerving when new to this
type of program.
The program features will cause your display to appear to jump around if you
are not used to it.
It moves with the current focus. It is all adjustable as to how much you want
to see at one time, or even see normal and enlarged view at the same time.
But it can be that because the entire screen cannot show on your screen it will
look like it is jumping back and forth and up and down.
It made me kind of dizzy until I got to where I understood it better.
Now that I know that, I really feel I am helped because I am not having to use
my wee bit of vision to hunt and hunt.

I use Freedom Scientific Magic version 13 and JAWS version 17.
And the Microsoft Word program.
I also use version 14 of Kurzweil K-1000 program. When using that it has its
own speech and the magnifier Magic is not on. But it can have the display
adjusted quite nicely.
