Thank you, Evan, for taking the time to sound the trumpet for Bookshare
and the volunteer community.
It is indeed a treat and a pleasure to participate, and a really good
feeling when another book gets added by way of the cooperation and talent
within our volunteers
I am more periodic than I would like to be in my time. But have had a bit
of momentum lately in scanning books. And it has been really neat to see
them getting checked out, proofread and make the steady climb into the
collection.
My current book scan project is a pretty neat cookbook.
I did not find it in the collection,
My wife got me started with it. So I said, well, here goes.
I am going slowly, converting the fractions to text and reading it all
pretty carefully. I am about one-third done. And a few tablespoons of
pages, well maybe more, than that to go yet.
The title? Why sure!

I think from my reading so far that it is already written in a wonderfully
practical way.
