Ahem, I have a bit of a quandry. I have a manual that Leader Dogs put out in print that is used by O and M professionals taking their course. I have it scanned, and edited, but there is one well minor, o.k. major problem. The copyright is "pending" and when I went to the Library of Congress's website the title of the book did not register at all. Nore does the claimant. Sigh. The edition where it was Pending was in 1993 and the edition I have is the 7th edition put out in November of 2002. Can I submit this, or how could I confirm that there is indeed a copyright, or if there isn't, how do I get the book available under the Public Domain books. It is good information, and hopefully he has copyrighted it, but I doubt it. I will paste what the copyright page says on it below. Am very puzzled as to how to treat this book, but it is very good information and probably someone out there could use it.
