Hi Jess, I don't think you are discriminating against blind people by asking that. Some other books also need a sighted proofreader so you're not alone in that request. And if you do one for blind volunteers I'm sure you'll make someone's day. Julia ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jess Killian" <jesskillian@xxxxxxx>

Hi all,I’m going to be scanning in a book using the KNFB reader. It’s difficult for me to get a clean scan because I have a physical disability that makes it difficult for the phone to take a whole picture of the page. I think I’ve figured out a way for me to scan the book but I need a sighted validator to tell me if it matches what is in the printed addition.I have two questions in regards to this matter. Firstly, am I discriminating against those of us that are blind by asking for a sighted person when I have access to K1000? If not, do you think it would be okay if I did one book for a sighted volunteer and one for a blind volunteer? Thanks, Jess Jess Killian Bookshare discussion list email: jesskillian@xxxxxxxOff list email to be used for people who wish to contact me privately : jess_killian@xxxxxxxxxxxTo unsubscribe from this list send a blank Email to bksvol-discuss-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxxput the word 'unsubscribe' by itself in the subject line.
