How about all those books being held for new volunteers?
Birds and Bees. I wish they were on a separate checkout for new volunteers
list.

As many have asked we have begun to look at ways to minimize the number of
long term "Hold For" books in the Checkout List. We would like to try a
new policy of limiting a "Hold For" to 3 months.
Here is a breakdown of the "Hold for" books in Checkout organized by when
they were added to the list:
Before Aug 18 2010: 2
Aug 18 – Sep 17: 2
Sep 18 – Oct 17: 3
Oct 18 – Nov 17: 6
Nov 18 – Dec 17: 4
Dec 18 – Jan 17: 14
Jan 18 – Feb 17: 17
Unless there is strong objection to the 3 month limit we will implement
that in 2 weeks. So, if there is a book being held for you that has been
up for 3 or more months this would be the time to start working on it.
