Andy,
It has a picture of a small piano and stool.  The chapter heading is "Dance at 
Fairlie"
Here is the text:
By the day of the party at Fairlie, Martha had learned all of her "Tam o' 
Shanter" by heart.  She stood before the nursery fire and recited the whole 
ballad for Miss Crow. The governess was pleased. She said Martha had a flair 
for elocution."Perhaps you can recite for the guests at your uncle's party," 
Miss Crow suggested.Martha wrinkled her nose. She wasn't sure how she felt 
about that idea. Miss Crow would not be there to help her if she got stuck; Mum 
had said the governess might have the day off

this book. It is the start of a new chapter and has an image on it... makes the 
scan turn out wrong.
