If they are willing to donate all those books to developing countries, I wonder if they would be willing to donate some of them to Bookshare.

Hi Kim!I haven't signed up to thriftbooks.com, so I don't have any personal experience on bookquality or how easy the service is to use, but I just visited the web site for a minute or two to read the home page to get a sense of it. Just a general tip, when you go to a site and hear "top, bottom" and nothing in between those extremes so it looks like the site is totally inaccessible, try refreshing the page by hitting F5. That usually has worked for me. I didn't have to refresh this site. I got 93 links without doing anything. This looks like a cool site. It says in part: HELPING SUPPORT WORLD LITERACYThrift Books is dedicated to helping world literacy. We have donated hundreds of thousands of books to developing countries world-wide. These books go to schools and mostly to young children who would otherwise not have access to these life-changingtools. Reading can open the doors of the world. Learn how you can help. coming soon... They sound quite dedicated to what they are doing. That's nice to see. I'm not sure if this site is thrift.com or thriftbooks.com. Anyhow, I tried to go on to the thriftbooks.com web site and apparently there's nothing there or at least there wasn't as far as my screen reader was concerned. Have any of you gone there and what kind of book quality is there? If it's any good, accessible, and easy to use, it gives me one more source to find books for bookshare. Thanks for the info.
