Hello Folks,
Perhaps just a slightly smaller than usual turnout for our most recent meeting.
And, as most of us had read it before and knew we would,, we very much enjoyed
our book, Way Station by Clifford D. Simak. Those who had read it for the first
time liked it as well. For our next meeting, we stay in the 1960s, and, since
they’re very short, we’ve chosen two books for our next meeting. We’ve selected
the classic, The White Mountains, and its sequel, The City of Gold and Lead,
the first two books in the original Tripods trilogy by John Christopher.
The next meeting of the Science Fiction club will be on Thursday, June 9, 2016.
