Ho. As I went to my list to get the titles I found that in fact the renew
link for them has now appeared and I renewed them. In fact, like the link
for Hitler's Nemesis ( which doesn't matter if it's released because I'm
sure no one will want it --- too long, too many footnotes and other
problems like the subject and foreign names) -- the renew link appears more
than once smile

we wanted to provide another option to help with the process of books being
released, renewed, and checked out.
If you currently have books checked out that will expire over the next
two weeks that you want to renew, you can email volunteer@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
with the titles of the books you want to renew along with your name. We
will put a "Hold for Volunteer Name" in the title of the book. We are
hoping this will reduce the likelihood of some else checking out the book
when it's released during this time. When the website update happens on
March 8 and the issue is resolved, we will take the holds off the
titles and go back to the normal check out and renewal process.
