When I asked Gustavo about proprietary manuals and books years ago, he said 
that as long as the book was available to the public, it was not proprietary. 
The litmus test he suggested was looking on amazon.com. If the book or manual 
is selling on amazon.com, we can put it into the collection.

Hmmm, I thought there was also a restriction on proprietary texts too.  Not 
sure of the Bookshare definition of proprietary but...
