Hi Ann.

I actually only use linux through a terminal for my job. The rest of the
time, I use Windows, though many times I have wished it were the other way
around. So in short, I don't know the answer to your question as I have
always used the Windows unpack tool.

If I were to run Linux as my primary OS, I would almost certainly setup a
dual boot machine, so I could keep Windows around for that odd job which
couldn't be completed in Linux.

Sorry I can't help further.

Aaron

+Hi all,

Aaron, interesting post. I do believe that there are accessible reference
works online at dictionary.com, and there are other online libraries that
have this information.

I am intrigued by your suggestion, though, and I look forward to the
response from Bookshare.

BTW, nice to see a Linuxer on here. Does the unpack tool work in Linux
still? I have a Linuxer friend who wants to join Bookshare, but he has no
access to Windows at all. So, if the unpack tool isn't viable for Linux,
he can't use Bookshare. What do you know about this, please?
