Hey everyone,

It is difficult, if not downright impossible, to equal the scares generated
by the materialistic frenzy which accompanies the celebration of Christmas, but here at the horror book club, hosted by The
Friends of Bookshare, we intend to spread the fear in our own unique way.

Our next meeting will take place on Thursday, December 27th, at 6:00 p.m.
PST, and 9:00 p.m. EST. We will be discussing a book by one of horror's most
recognized names, Dean Koontz. We will be delving into the novel, Strangers,
published originally in 1986. Here's just a bit about the book:

They are from different towns across the country, with different
backgrounds. They have nothing in common but their dreams--full of a terror
that turns
night into hell and day into living nightmares. The strangers are drawn to
the Tranquility Motel, deep in the heart of the desert, where they will
discover
a shocking truth.
