Tracy remember you can go to the step two page and release it and then go
back and get it.

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Getting without getting

Admin,
Do you know that, if a download fails, or is cancelled before it completes,
that the book is still "checked out" to the validator who tried to download
it? For example, Monday my download of Return of the Gypsy failed because I
lost my connection, but, when I tried to get it again, it wasn't on the
download page. Luckily, I knew it would be on the Step 2 page, and just
went there and rejected it, as I had planned to do.
I've also seen this happen when I start to download a book, then get a look
at the size of the thing and decide I just can't deal with a 5-meg thing,
and cancel the download. Even though I've cancelled, I still have it,
according to Bookshare.
I don't know if anything can be done about this; I just thought I'd mention
it.
Tracy
