Hi Kristin, I would delete large chunks of duplicated text like this. It isvery likely that the scanner of the book was using Kurzweil1000 to scan andrecognize the book and had suspicious regions kept. This can result in chunks of duplicated text like this. Just my opinion and experience, but I'd delete large chunks of duplicated text like this.
