Dena,

Don't give up. The information about validating on the website hasn't been
updated yet.

Basically, all you need to is to download a book you'd lke to read and read it,
correcting scanning errors as you go along. Delete headers but leave page
numbers. Leave a line space between the page break and the page number, and
the page number and the text--that's if the page number is at the top of the
page. If it's at the bottom of the page, leave a line space between the text
and the page and thge page and the page break.

Be sure there are page breaks.

When you've finished and are ready to upload the book, double-check that the
author's name(s) book title, and copyright information are correct. Iften the
submitter has made a mistake inputting the information. That's why Gistavo
returns the book to the download list with the statement to check copyright.

If you don't want to read the book, there is a minimum amount of work you can
do, but I'll let someone else explain that, because that doesn't result,
always, in an Excellent copy being in the collection--unless the scanner has
pre-validated carefully. smile
