Dear Booksharian Friends, particularly Scanners,

For years I've posted books on Paperback Swap once I've proofread them. Because of the influx of PQ books I've had more books to post than ever, since there was no reason to hang on to them.

When possible, I get books from the library to use as back-ups when I proof, or, if the library doesn't have the book I need, I order it from Paperback Swap. If necessary, as a last resort, I buy a used or new book from Amazon, ABE books or Alilibris, (not sure of the spelling on that last one).

Currently I have more credits with Paperback Swap than I ever expected to accumulate, enough to share with scanners who can't get books from their libraries. If you are looking for a particular book to scan, I'll gladly order it for you if it's posted on Paperback Swap, at no cost to you, of course. I hope this will save you time and money and make some of your scanning wishes come true. When my credits are down to less than ten, I'll take a break from ordering for you and notify the list when they build up again.

I am especially interested in ordering books you plan to scan in the next month or so. When you finish with the book, do whatever you like with it. I don't need for you to return it to me.

Please send your requests to me off list at

periannore@xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Feel free to work with proofreaders you team with or to put your scan on the check out list for any volunteer to select. This offer has no strings attached and I hope it helps some of you.

I'm so thankful and proud that despite the wonderful influx of PQ books, we still have jobs adding to the collection.

Always with love,

Lissi
