Hi, Aidee and Cindy,
I've had the same problem. What works for me is to hit the renew link and when
it doesn't change the renewal date, I go into the book history and on the top
line, it tells me that the book has been renewed.
Personally, I liked it better when hitting the renew link immediately changed
the renewal date rather than having to go the extra step of checking the book
history.

Hello Cindy:
I was having the same problem a couple of days ago when my books came up for
renewal. I quit hitting the renew link after a while and closed the page, and
when I went back the next day, thinking I’d have to rescue my books from the
checkout queue, they were still in my checked out list and they were renewed.
I don’t have any idea what’s going on, and I would also love it if the
reminders to renew meant that the renew link was up and working.

Argh!!! Please note: I'm not releasing any books. I keep hitting Renew and
still see the old due date, no the new one. I still need Freedom Hall and
Silver Cross to work on and finish ( I do wish warning of expiration
would be synchronized with renew links, ,and/or that we could renew any
time it's convenient.
