I haven't had a chance to look at the reviews in detail yet, but this
scanner only gets 3.7 out of 5 stars with over 200 customer reviews. That's
not a great score, especially given that the cost for a new one is $525 up
there.

I have funded all three versions on kickstarter with high hopes, but
consistently been disappointed. The first version was disappointing because
it did not interface well with my Mac even though they said it would. The
second one just seem to be a little glitchy even on my PC and I always ended
up going back to my OpticBook. I’m waiting for the third version to get sent
out of China if they can ever get shipping resumed. I’ll let you know how
the third version works.

I am looking at replacing my Pearl Camera and Openbook with the CZUR book scanner. Does anyone have one of these? If so, what are your thoughts on it? I'd love to hear your experience in using it for Bookshare projects.
