One thing about the student thing, though-not all of us have IEP's!!
Obviously, those of us in college/university don't fall under the IEP
category, and can't access the nymack text books, or whatever that is
called. Sometimes, this is unfortunate. Ok, here's a question: can those
of us who are older then k-12 grades access *any* text books on bookshare?

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Books needed for school

Some time ago, either in a newsletter or, I think, a
Bulletin that Lisa sent out, was this note: "If you're
a student or teacher requesting a book specifically
needed for school, go to the front of the line with
mail to: schoolbookrequest@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx"

If Robin can get the book from the publisher for the
collection or Carrie or someone gets it and processes
it, I assume it will be both scanned and
proofread--hopefully. Then our students can
concentrate on studying and learning. smile
