Book submitted The last of the Baynard Kendrick Detective stories.

I do have a "remake" of Clear and Present Danger and will be working on that
next. But this completes the series as far as bookshare is concerned,
smile.

For your validating and reading pleasure.

Needs a spell check.

You Die Today
By Baynard Kendrick

When a blinded veteran shoots up lower Broadway, that's news. It's not only
news, but a one-way ticket to Bellevue.

And when he shoots up Broadway with his own gun, last seen two years ago
just before a General in the U. S. Army was shot, it is much more likely
he'll be booked for murder. . . .

That's what happened to a young hero from the war in Korea, despite his
protestations of innocence, and his account of what happened. And that's
when Duncan Maclain stepped into the picture. . . .

Maclain not only believed the soldier's story, but followed leads to
Hardesty's Health Farm, rich man's cure-all on the Hudson, where, it
seemed, you diet today, you die tomorrow!

The vision must be followed by the venture. It is not enough to
stare up the steps - we must step up the stairs.
