If you have the Amazon detail page in front of you check the dimensions under product details. Trade paperbacks are normally the same size as a hardcover would be and the mass market paperbacks are smaller. Library binding might be your best bet, though. Those are hardcovers made without dust jackets. The artwork is usually on the cover itself. They are similar to textbooks. The paper and print quality are usually very good. But check the dimensions on those too because they tend to be larger and you will want a copy that will fit on your scanner.

Hello I was wondering is it easier to scan a paper at back or a
book with a hardcover? The book I'm trying to find is only
available in paperback or Library binding
