Unfortunately, tactile drawings really don't help with this kind of art. I would just say the name of the painting by artist name is shown on this page. I assume there is lots of biographical material etc in the book that a blind person could benefit from.

I had the whole set when my kids were young though I enjoyed the books more than they did, I'm afraid. They're a wonderful reference, but I imagine they're very difficult to scan and proof--and I don't know that the paintings are easily describable. The best thing would be for a company to publish them in such a way that the shapes and colors of the paintings can be made tactileCindyWish List (i.e., books wanted added to the collection) and books-being-scanned list available at sites belowWish List: https://wiki.benetech.org/display/BSO/Bookshare+Wish+ListBooks Being Scanned List: https://wiki.benetech.org/display/BSO/Books+Being+Scanned+List--- On Sun, 12/20/09, Shelley L. We have Da Vinchi, Van Goe and Momet in the collection at present and just submitted Raphael and Piccaso, I have Mark Chagall to submit as well. But wondering if there is interest for these books, should I continue to do them? It is an entire series, I can google the entire list. Shelley L.
