Hi all,
I have a small complaint, and I don't think anyone can do anything about it,
but I voice it here. The URL disignations on the Bookshare web site are almost
as bad as those on Amazon. They extend over three lines in some cases, making
it totally impossible to use them effectively in email. I have had occasion to
want to place the URL fora specific book in an email announcement. When I
paste in the URL for the thing, it's something like one hundred and sixtey
chars long! I just got the newsletter with the URLs for all the articles and
the whole message is nothing but numbers, making it difficult to read.
Some people use tiny URL, but I don't know how to use it. Anhybody have any
ideas about how to solve this one?
