Went walking in my field this afternoon and found a shrike. The first one I've seen out there since February. There were a few other birds as well: Chestnut-sided, Magnolia, and a palm warbler Phoebe, Pewee, and an Empidonax flycatcher that didn't call (maybe a willow or alder) 4 Red-headed Woodpeckers including 1 juv. Flickers, Red-bellieds, hairies, and a downy as well. Overall, not much activity for this time of year.
