Hi everyone,
I haven't posted on this listserv in a while, but I wanted to share some sad
news that I recently learned. Carl Mowery, who ran the LBL Christmas Bird Count
and was an avid birder for many years in the West KY area, passed away
recently. Someone sent his obituary to me in the mail with a donation in his
memory to the Friends of LBL, which is how I found out. I know that some of you
may have known Carl, even though he had moved away from Kentucky quite a few
