Finally a good number of warblers. It was a good day species wise, and great day total bird wise. We saw lots of several species: Cape May, Bay-breasted, Tennessee, Blackpoll, Chestnut-sided; several Redstarts, Black-and-white,Parula, Magnolia,Yellow-rump, and Nashvilles, and singles of Hooded, Yellow, and Pine. With a Black-throated Blue, seen by others, but only heard by us. Also lots of Red-breasted Grosbeaks, Red-eyed Vireos, and several Blue-headed Vireos. I got my fix, summer can have at it. But it had to get a late frost in first this morn scott marsh lexington ________________________________ ================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBERS============== When posting on BIRDKY, please close posts with your first and last name and your address (city or county). * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * To post on BIRDKY, send e-mail to: birdky@xxxxxxxxxxxxx * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Visit the KOS website at http://www.biology.eku.edu/kos/default.htm * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Visit the KOS Photo Page to view photos of birds recently sighted in Kentucky: http://www.flickr.com/groups/kentucky_ornithological_society/pool * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * To unsubscribe, send e-mail to: birdky-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject line. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * BIRDKY List Manager: Gary Ritchison.
