Our Chimney Swifts arrived today. Hummingbird feeder has been out a few days
now and got it's first observed visitor just moments ago. Kingbirds came back
yesterday.
Something apparently happened to one of the Canada geese that were
commencing incubation atop a pondside building here. I heard them honking up a
storm one morning. Didn't see them that afternoon. Saw a lone individual fly
over the next morning. Nothing since. Five eggs have remained untouched and
unattended in the sand atop the building for many days.
