Like others of you, I'm seeing lots of activity, b/c of the snow, at my backyard feeders. I haven't come across fox sparrows in a few years, but I have 3 out back. A female towhee, song sparrows, house
finches--the usual stuff but more of everything.
Forgive me if I missed a posting about the ASK trip to Raven Run last Thursday evening. In the location where we spent most of our time, we saw/heard about 8 of them--plus quite a few more elsewhere. Unfortunately,
the place normally closes at 4:30, but I believe there's a public woodcock walk there within a week or so. The usual large numbers at CKWMA.
Drive safely--better yet watch the backyard birds.
