Surprisingly low numbers of some birds with cardinals, mourning doves and most sparrows down from last year. And the 3 titmice and at least one chickadee I had earlier didn't make a show. The culprit of the seed consumption was as suspected; house sparrows and house finches. I really dislike feeding house sparrows. Cardinals - 7 Jays - 3 Doves - 14 Starlings - 1 Downies - 2 Juncos - 4 Tree sparrow - 1 White-throated - 10 White-crowned - 7 Song sparrow - 2 House finch - 25 House sparrow - 65 One Carolina Wren and one Mockingbird in the yard, never seen at feeder.
