Lots of ducks on the new Lewis County WMA today (owned by AEP). One tract of flooded timber held about 300 birds, a mix of mallards, black ducks, green-winged teal and wood ducks. Ring-necked ducks, scaup (on the Ohio River), and buffleheads were present too. Yesterday, on Yatesville Lake WMA in Lawrence County, I heard my first pine warbler of the year.
