I looked at my eBird data back to 2012.
I have seen an average of 55 chats starting in April and through July. That is
from an average of 82 outings during that period.
My high count was last year with 73 chats from 83 outings in 2016.
Low count was 35 chats from 71 outings in 2013.
But this year has been lower than last: 57 this year and 73 last year.
57 this year is just about average.
I’m not sure what to make of that.
Maybe last year was high making this year look low.
