Walked out to the nest site of the Cliff Swallows at U’town Dam. Probably
nesting is over. Saw no activity at the nests.
Followed that by checking shorebirds at Grassy Pond/Powells Lake Unit, and the
fluidly along U’town/Mt. Vernon Road.
Lastly I visited Horseshoe Road slough. Maybe 24 Canada Geese and 1 Mallared.
Water level there is starting to drop, but has a long way to go for shorebirds.
