I noticed some time back that a robin had built a nest atop sparrow nest material filling an open topped bird house mounted on the outside wall of my shop. I recently noticed that the sparrow nest is still active. The Robin's eggs have already hatched out. I can't tell the status of the nest beneath, but the adult sparrows go in and out regularly, so I assume there are babies on that nest too. Additionally, there is a Carolina Wren's nest on the inside wall of the shop, making it a densely packed neighborhood.
