There were Yellow-throated Warblers at Pope Lick Park today; two at the
bridge over the creek, and another bird further down the creek off the
Louisville Loop.

Later in the day, over the same bridge, flew two male Purple Martins. There
is a martin house at the edge of the park, near the dilapidated barn, but
it does not appear to be maintained.

Finally, from the balcony of my apartment (I call it the Paddock Fields), a
lone Barn Swallow cruised by in the strong afternoon wind.
