Beautiful morning at the Sloughs. Highlights were an orange-crowned warbler in Jenny Hole, an indigo bunting on Klondike Rd., FOS rusty blackbirds in Jenny Hole, and a long-billed dowitcher all by its lonesome in Wood Tract North. By the time I got to Sauerheber at midday there were virtually no ducks, but there were some other shorebirds at Wood Tract South: 19 dunlins, 8 leasts, 6 snipe, and 2 greater yellowlegs (along with the legions of killdeer).
