in Louisville. I made contact with the home owner and was given permission
to visit her yard this afternoon. It looks to me to be a Rufous, but I

owner is Bobbi Fraser Davis at 516 Grand Vista Place in Douglas Hills. She
doesn't really want tons of people over there but she gave me permission to
share it with local birders and said it's fine for folks to stop by. Please
no earlier than 8:00am, no need to call or knock on the door. I'd suggest
not parking in their driveway, but to instead park out on the street. Her
directions are "The feeder is in the backyard, there is a gate next to the
garage so come in that way. Follow the walk around the garage and as soon
as you make a slight bend to the left in the walk you'll see the tree and
feeder." I stopped at that bend in the walkway and watched the feeder from
there. The bird seems to favor the plastic feeder, not the cooper one. I
stayed less than an hour and it visited the feeder every 15 minutes or so.
