A couple of days ago I was coming in from pulling honeysuckle, dodging the falling walnuts and scared up a Cooper's Hawk in my little patch of woods. Looking around a little more I saw a Ring-necked Pheasant! I wonder if the hawk was after the pheasant? This is the first one I have seen out here in Scott County. A couple of years ago I saw a what looked like a Chukar in the neighborhood. Makes me think there is a game farm somewhere near. Does any know if there is a game farm that raises game birds in or around Scott County? Is a non native bird like this countable? I wouldn't think so, but though I would ask.
