A quick jaunt to the Falls yielded a few good birds before the year's end:
9:00- 10:20 am
Big Four bridge Indiana "harbor"
8 Horned Grebes
12 Canada Goose
4 Green-wg. teal- in the middle of the river
100 Ring-bl. Gull on the docks and across the river at Towhead
1 Herring Gull
40+ Double-cr. Cormorant
Falls of the Ohio
16 Horned Grebes
3 Pied-bl. grebes
1 Blue-wg. Teal - flew out from below dam with mallards
1 Canvasback
3 Bufflehead
1 1st winter male Common Goldeneye
12 Red-br. Merganser
1 Great Blue Heron
2 adult Herring Gull
1 Ruby-cr. Kinglet
2 Swamp Sparrow
2 Cooper's Hawk on lightpoles in downtown Louisville I-65
