Apologies to those who came to look for the Black-throated Gray and did not see
her this afternoon. I saw the bird briefly about 1:15, but then it vanished for
hours. Some of the last of the day were standing around chatting at 5:00 pm
when the bird *finally* made another brief appearance for us before vanishing
again.
Visitors are welcome on Sunday for searches. Holler if you need directions.
Other birds of interest seen today by me and others included: Bald Eagle
overhead; a couple of Pine Siskins, at least *2* Orange-crowned Warblers, a
male Pine Warbler, a White-eyed Vireo, an Eastern Phoebe, and several of both
kinglets, A Yel-bel Sapsucker and a couple of Brown Creepers.
