Brian & Brian (? and Johnson) found a Red-necked Grebe with 28 Horned Grebes along the Indiana shoreline at Ashland Park this morning. The birds are currently floating *over* what is normally dry Indiana land. Hopefully if they hang in until tomorrow the river will be back down enough that they'll be in KY. The large scaup flock upstream is hiding closer to the IN shoreline, too; at least 3 White-winged Scoters were off Buckhead's at 1100 am. bpb, Louisville ================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBERS============== When posting on BIRDKY, please close posts with your first and last name and your address (city or county). * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * To post on BIRDKY, send e-mail to: birdky@xxxxxxxxxxxxx * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Visit the KOS website at http://www.birdky.org * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Visit the KOS Photo Page to view photos of birds recently sighted in Kentucky: http://www.flickr.com/groups/kentucky_ornithological_society/pool * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * To unsubscribe, send e-mail to: birdky-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject line. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * BIRDKY List Manager: Gary Ritchison.
