Did a relatively quick scan of the fossil beds mid-morning. Highlights:
Killdeer 20-25
Spotted Sandpiper 3
Least Sandpiper 10-12
Swallows ... a post-breeding group is feeding over the outer fossil beds and
loafing on some of the rock shelves; mostly Bank Swallows (40-50) with fewer
Barn Swallows (20-25), Cliff Swallows (5+), and No. Rough-wingeds (2).
