Helen Wright-North of Erlanger reported to eBird a White-winged Dove (photo'd)
in Kenton County yesterday. I asked Helen about visitors and her reply is below.

Brainard,
It is fine with me that people come to see the bird. It was here this morning
and I just got home, and it is still here. It showed up around 8:00 am and was
definitely here last night from 6:00. I have many mourning doves that are here
regularly. My feeders are in the front yard and that is the only place I have
seen the bird. I live on a cul-de-sac so parking is limited. My front porch
is open to those who would like to sit there. The birds tend to be spooked
when cars drive down the street but they are quick to return. I will continue
to log the bird daily as long as it is here so people will know to come.
Although, I work during the week and leave before the birds appear, someone is
here until 11:00 am everyday. I get home about 4:30 everyday. I have not
logged the bird on Cincinnati Audubon website so as not to concern my
neighbors. I will let them know there might be some extra traffic for a while.
My preferred method is for people to email me first if they plan on coming
during the week. Calling is not the best since I do not answer calls that I
don’t know. I will be here the rest of today and tomorrow morning and early
afternoon.
