There are only a few days left to make reservations for the Beckham Bird Club's annual dinner meeting featuring Pete Dunne. The dinner will be on March 10th, 2009 at Masterson's Restaurant (1837 S. Third Street)in Louisville. The meeting begins at 6 PM with a social hour, followed by a buffet dinner at 7 PM. The price
of the dinner is $27. The deadline for making reservations is Friday,
March 7. Only
reservations with payment will be accepted. Visit the Beckham Bird
Club website and click on February newsletter to download a reservation
form.
Pete Dunne is the vice president
of the New Jersey Audubon Society and director of the Cape May Bird
Observatory. His is the author of many
books, including Pete Dunne on Birding,
The Wind Masters, Hawks in Flight, The Feather Quest, and Dunne’s Essential Field Guide Companion. Copies of his books will be on sale at the
dinner meeting.
