While I plan to keep an eye on the weather throughout the day, the
precipitation forecast over the next 24 hours looks like it could make for
some icky conditions tomorrow. Joe Creason Park itself may be doable even
in the rain. Beargrass Creek Nature Preserve, however, can get downright
treacherous when conditions are wet and that is where I was planning to
spend most of our time.
I will update this evening, but given the current outlook I'm inclined to
cancel tomorrow's trip. I hate to have to make it a field trip-less
weekend but in the interest of everyone's fun and safety, it would probably
be the wiser decision.
