We teamed up with friends Kevin Burt, Tom Durbin, Tricia Sepulveda, and
Frank and Annie Sgro for some fine spring birding in and near Mammoth Cave
N.P.
Janet and I hit the river at the end of the day to pad the list a little.
Highlights were continuing large flocks of waxwings, 6 vireo species, and a
great collection of 24 warblers.It was a great day for Swainson's thrushes,
as well.
