Here is a sampling of birds and other wildlife seen yesterday at Mammoth Cave
National Park.
Broad-winged Hawk- 2
Red-shouldered Hawk
Cerulean Warbler
Cape May Warbler
Canada Warbler
Tennessee Warbler
Black-throated Green Warbler
Black and White Warbler
Magnolia Warbler
Yellow-throated Warbler
Kentucky Warbler
Swainson's Thrush
Gray-cheeked Thrush
Scarlet Tanager
Summer Tanager
Yellow-billed Cuckoo
I encountered a beautiful 12 pt. buck and his smaller 4 pt. friend yesterday
near Green River.
Also, I had great looks at a female Merlin this morning near South Union.
