[birdky] Long-tailed Ducks at Jeffersonville Overlook

Colleen were delighted to find 3 Long-tailed Ducks above the "Bridge to
Nowhere". Also seen were 6 Black Scoters.
Location: Jeffersonville, IN Overlook
Observation date: 12/5/10
Notes: The 3 Long-tailed Ducks were loosely associating with the mixed raft
of waterfowl. After drifting close to the "Bridge to Nowhere" the LTDU would
fly
up the river ~1/2 mile to start the drift back to bridge. While drifting, a
barge going up river displaced the LTDU and they were not relocated.
Several of us went up and down the river trying to relocate. Down to Ashland
Park and up to Eagle Steel to no avail.
